Door Supervisor Course
In order to successfully and without the offence to the law to provide Door Supervision, the license approved by The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is necessary.
ARA Security Company carries and directs you to achieve your license. In order to do so, there are several requirements:
- You should be 18 or over
- Have Secondary or Higher Education
- You will need to supply with proof of identification (e.g. EU Identity Card, passport, UK driving licence.)
- Proof of address (e.g. bank statement, Telephone bill, electricity bill etc.)
- 4 Passport-sized recent photographs
- Be willing to learn, feel passionate about the industry and hard working
After successfully passing the course a Door Supervisor license is issued, this must be renewed every three years. The course covers:
- Introduction to Door Supervisors
- Legislation regarding Door Supervision
- Licensing requirements
- Controlling entry to premises
- Health and Safety
- Drug Awareness
- Fire Procedures
- Dealing with customers
- Power of Arrest
- Power to search customers
- Conflict Management
The Final examination comprises of multiple-choice questions which covers all the theory and practical applications of a day-to-day door supervisor.
